How billing works

OmniaKey is prepaid and pay-as-you-go. You top up a USD balance, every call to Claude / GPT / Gemini is billed per token as it's forwarded to the upstream model, and you only pay for what you use. No subscription, no monthly fee, no auto-renewal, no expiry on your balance.

Refunding unused balance

Topped up too much, or changed your mind? You can request a refund of any unused balance within 30 days of the original top-up payment.

  • The full unused amount goes back to the card you paid with, via Stripe.
  • The Stripe processing fee on the original charge is on us — it does not come out of your refund.
  • Once we issue the refund it typically lands on your card in 5–10 business days. That window is set by Stripe and the card networks, not by us.

To request a refund, email [email protected] from the address on your account. Tell us the top-up amount and approximate date; we usually reply within one business day.

After the 30-day window we still review every request individually and try to help — we just can't commit to the full-refund treatment the way we can inside the window.

Refunding consumed balance

Once a call has been forwarded to an upstream provider (Anthropic, OpenAI, or Google), the token cost is real — we paid the upstream and can't reclaim it. Consumed balance is not refundable, with two exceptions:

  • You were charged for a broken upstream response. If the upstream returned a non-2xx error but your account was still debited, email us the request id from the response header. We credit it back to your balance within 1–2 business days.
  • Your bill doesn't match the dashboard. If the deductions on /dashboard/billing don't add up against the per-call rows on /dashboard/usage, write to us. We reconcile and credit any difference to your balance within 1–2 business days.

These restorations land in your prepaid balance, not on the card. From there you can spend them on new calls or follow the section above to pull the amount back to the original payment method.

Chargebacks

Please write to us before opening a chargeback with your bank. We won't override the rules above, but every dispute costs us a fixed bank fee regardless of who's right — most cases settle faster, cheaper, and more smoothly for both sides through a single email than through Stripe's dispute flow.
