Prompt guidance
Set genre and mood
Two or three descriptors are enough to anchor the track. Contradictory moods tend to average into something bland.
Slow psychedelic soul, warm and hypnotic
Name the instrumentation
List the instruments you want to hear, and the ones you do not.
Electric piano, soft drums, no brass
Decide on vocals early
Instrumental and vocal tracks need different prompts. If you want vocals, say so and give the language.
Instrumental; no vocals
Shape the structure
Use sections such as intro, verse and chorus when the arrangement matters. Otherwise let the model choose.
Short intro, one verse, repeating chorus, fade out
Write singable lyrics
Keep lines short and repeat the hook. Check that the language and pronunciation you ask for match the lyrics.
Verse: four short lines; chorus: one repeated line

All articlesCommon questions
Do I need an account to generate audio?
Yes. Sign in before you submit. Generations are charged to your OmniaKey balance at the model's standard rate.
Can I give a description, lyrics, or both?
It depends on the model. Some accept a description only, others also accept lyrics; the workbench shows which inputs the selected model supports.
How long is generated audio stored?
Results are kept for 30 days. Download them before then; a failed task produces no result and returns the reserved credit.
Can I use generated music commercially?
Check the model provider's terms for commercial use. OmniaKey bills the generation; it does not grant rights the provider withholds.
Can I use these models through the API?
Yes. The same models are available through the OmniaKey API with the same API key. See the model catalog for model pages and the API documentation for request formats.
